SYS-LIFE has started the preparations for the 2nd Call and arranged an information session for research groups and PIs at the University of Turku. If you are a researcher at the University of Turku and want to host a postdoctoral researcher, you can send the research theme description to SYS-LIFE (syslife@utu.fi) before 4th of October. And remember to tell about SYS-LIFE to your colleagues and friends around the globe!

SYS-LIFE call launch event took place on the 12th of December 2024. Event began with opening words from Markus Juonala, SYS-LIFE Director and continued with an introduction to SYS-LIFE by Georgezs Kazan, Vice Director of SYS-LIFE.
Brief presentations were held about some of the selected research topics such as Turku BrainLab by Juho Joutsa, Professor of Neurology, diagnostics by Saara Wittfooth, Assistant Professor, cardiology byJuhani Knuuti, Professor, Director of Turku PET Centre and digital health by Matti Kaisti, Assistant Professor.
The event was concluded with an overview of the application process by Sanni Helander, SYS-LIFE application coordinator.
